Choosing the Chiropractic Path

During Dr. Con’s days at the University of Winnipeg, his mother was suffering from low back pain, sciatica and numbness. She tried many avenues for treatment without seeing results. The chiropractor explained how spinal problems affect the entire body, and his mom responded remarkably to care. “I talked to the chiropractor and found out more about how the nervous system controls the body, and that any interference in it causes the body to short circuit, often resulting in back or other spinal problems.”

Intrigued and knowing he wanted to enter the health care field, he chose this natural, holistic approach as his profession.

He attended Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating with a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1991. Outside of school, he furthered his education by attending seminars and learning about different adjusting techniques. Since that time, Dr. Con has dedicated himself to continuing his education with regular courses on topics such as biomechanics, orthopedics, X-ray and clinical studies.

An Active Lifestyle

Dr. Con and his wife enjoy being outdoors, with skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and swimming in the summer. He participates in UltraSwim and has done triathlons and competitions such as IRONMAN®. Dr. Con is a movie fanatic and avid reader, particularly the sci-fi and fantasy genres or autobiographies.

They have three grown children and a young grandchild, who they like to visit whenever time allows.
